A Ramp Leads to Back Stage
The structure of the design is purely functional. A ramp for the movement of equipment leads performers to a back stage room to set up their equipment. The curvature of the walls is based on the reflection of music waves - to project them out over the audience.
Reflection of Sound
The roof works in concert with the walls to reflect and project sound out to the audience.

The band shell is designed for musical performances. The design acknowledges the Town’s support of artists. Local Artists will craft custom connectors to attache the cantilevered trusses to the block walls - the band shell becomes a gallery of local artist’s work.
